Jean Barnard

Jean Barnard, 88 of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in St. Anne Home. She was born June 23, 1920 in Greensburg, a Daughter of the late Ralph R. and Pearl Demi. Jean was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg and was a retired employee for the Westmoreland Co. Municipal Authority . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam R. Barnard a sister Eleanor Demi, and three brothers Ralph, Richard and Roy Demi. Surviving are two Sons, Richard A. Barnard and wife Kathleen and Randy Barnard and wife Carol all of Greensburg, a Sister, Lois Snyder, two Grandsons, Jeremy Barnard and wife Jane, and Adam Barnard, a Great-Grandchildren Kimberly Barnard, and Cody Barnard. A funeral service will be celebrated at Zion Lutheran Church, on Saturday, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Gene R. Stuckey Sr. officiating. (Everyone go directly to the church) Interment services will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 140 South Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601 or St Anne Home, 685 Angela Dr. Greensburg, Pa. in Jean's memory.
