Wilda “Jean” Walton, 89, of Greensburg, died, Friday, January 13, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Harvey and Eva Mapel. She was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, she was an office manager for Peterson Directed Handwriting of Greensburg. Jean enjoyed working around the house, gardening and doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Addison “Red” Walton in 2006 and a sister, Harveda Ankney. Jean is survived by her son, Scott Walton and his wife, Heather of Blairsville. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Jean’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home with Rev. Steven L. Craft officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
