Josephine Giovannini

Josephine S. Giovannini, 92, a lifelong resident of Greensburg, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Redstone Highlands. She was born May 14, 1923, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Sam and Virginia (Grasslini) Saguto. Josephine was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred J. Giovannini; and her brothers, Domenic and James Saguto; and sisters Rose Tozzi, Lena McNeel, Mary Prioletto, Virginia Saguto and Lorraine Schumann. Surviving are her nieces and nephews. Honoring Josephine's wishes there will be no public visitation. Everyone is invited to celebrate a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg.
