Marilyn Cornell

Marilyn Keslar Cornell, 84, of Greensburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Greensburg Care Center with loving family at her side. She was born October 17, 1932 in Greensburg, daughter of the late Peter and Mabel Keslar.
Marilyn was a Registered Nurse who graduated from the Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing in 1953 and was employed at the hospital until she retired to raise a family. She was a very caring individual and loved her family, friends, and pets. Additionally, she was an avid reader and had a love of fashion.
A cherished mother, Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Wendy Cornell (Les McQuire); her son, Keith Cornell (Amy); and two grandchildren, Claire and Abby Cornell. She is also survived by her former husband of many years, Harry Cornell, whom she met when working at Torrance State Hospital.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from noon to 1 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC 524 N. Main St, Greensburg. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Madison Union Cemetery.
