Mark Kuhns

Mark D. Kuhns, 61, of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Greensburg, died, Wednesday, December 21, 2016.  He was born on December 31, 1954, a son of the late Morris C. Kuhns, Jr. and Evelyn Mason Kuhns.  Mark graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 1981 with a B.S. Degree in Education.  In 1984, he received a Master of Science Degree in Special Education from West Virginia University and in 1995 he earned his Master Degree of Education in School Administration from Marymount University in Virginia.  Mark taught in the Randolph County School System, West Virginia from 1981 to 1987 and Stafford County School System, Virginia from 1987 until his retirement in 2015.  He is survived by his 2 children, Lauren and Ryan Kuhns, both of Fredericksburg, VA; a brother, Edward Kuhns (Christine) of Derry; his two sisters, Kathy Baird of Youngwood and Karen Spears (David) of Jasonville, FL.  Private services will be held in Virginia.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
