Robert Rugh

Robert J. Rugh, Jake, passed away Sept. 9, 2017, at his home in Greensburg, Pa, with his family at his side.  He was born June 4, 1928 in Jeannette, PA, the son of the late Frank and Hazel Rugh.  He is survived by his wife, Betsy Rugh, their three daughters, Suzanne Mulrooney and her husband Bob, Karen Shaler and her husband Rob, and Melinda Gavarkavich and her husband John, a sister Jayne Lord, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Jake graduated from Jeannette High School and attended St Vincent College. He was a member of the Army National Guard, and a veteran of the Korean War.  Prior to retirement Jake was the owner of Keystone Lumber and Realty in Greensburg.  The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Excela Hospice and Redstone @ Home for their kind care and support.  Memorial Service is to be held at 1:00 pm, Sept. 30, 2017 at Redstone Highlands Chapel in Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Excela Hospice.
