Thomas Gibson

Thomas McGee Gibson, 61, of Greensburg (Unity Township), died Saturday, June 4, 2016 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by his family.  He was born in New Kensington on October 14, 1954, a son of the late Thomas E. and Maxine J. McGee Gibson.  He was a member of Maplewood United Presbyterian Church, Greensburg.  Tom was the owner of Gibson Consulting Group, Greensburg and belonged to the Institute of Management Consultants.  Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and bicycling on trails with his wife.  He took great pride in working and landscaping his yard and office grounds.  Tom is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” A. Durbiano Gibson; 2 children, Kelly Gibson and her husband Lindsay Sandusky of Irwin and Thomas “Tommy” Gibson and his wife Leslie of Columbus, OH; an uncle, Robert Gibson of California; brothers-in-law, John Durbiano (Donna), Charles Durbiano (Sally) and Mark Durbiano (Lori); also, several nephews, a niece and numerous cousins.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service for Tom will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626.  For online condolences, please visit,  www.kepplegraft.com
